Grown on the high plateau of the Gayo Highlands in Central Aceh, this coffee comes from the Permata Gayo cooperative, a community rebuilt after the Aceh conflict and now home to over 2,000 smallholder farmers. Certified Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance, it reflects both exceptional quality and strong social impact.
In the cup, expect classic Sumatran depth with notes of rich chocolate and black pepper, balanced by orange, apple, guava and gentle herbal tones. Full-bodied, complex and comforting, with a distinctive spice-sweet finish.
