Presbitero Herrera Torres Peru
This exceptional natural-processed micro-lot comes from Presbitero Herrera Torres’ 3-hectare farm in San Francisco, Huabal, grown at 1,600–1,800 masl. Made up primarily of Catuai varietal, the coffee is carefully hand-picked with the help of his family and small seasonal team.
In the cup, expect a vibrant and layered profile of golden raisins, vanilla cream and cacao nibs, lifted by guava, papaya and tropical fruit sweetness. Smooth, expressive and beautifully complex – a standout example of modern Peruvian specialty coffee.

Presbitero Herrera Torres owns 3 hectares of land in the village of San Francisco, Huabal district. Presbitero grows mostly Catuai, with some old typica plants remaining from before he renovated the farm. Presbitero manages the picking at his farm with the help of his family and hires some seasonal pickers who live in a nearby village. Whilst this coffee is not organic certified, Presbitero does not apply any chemical fertiliser, pesticide or fungicide and applies compost mixed with manure as a fertiliser.
Typical tasting notes include guava, papaya, caramelized apple, and sometimes hints of tropical fruit and sweetness — giving an engaging and complex flavour.
