Nano Challa means “the area above” a reference to the prime growing location at high altitudes, the coffees benefiting from natural forest and rich organic soil.

A Co-op of nearly 400 members, they operate a strict quality control program and are producing some of the country’s finest coffee. Coffee is cultivated between 1850 & 2100 metres.

Most of the coffee grown in Ethiopia is organic by default and consists of naturally indigenous heirloom varieties.
