Ariosa's Eggnog Latte

Its never too early to talk about Christmas Coffee drinks is it? Good!

Here in the Ariosa Coffee roastery we have been busy trying out some festive coffee drinks to impress our friends (we may need to get out more!)

So heres our first festive coffee drink of the season - EGGNOG LATTE. Its so simple and easy to make and tastes so so good.

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
⅓ cup milk
⅔ cup eggnog (available in all good supermarkets now)
2 shots of hot hot Ariosa espresso coffee (get some espresso coffee here)
pinch of ground nutmeg and cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pour milk, eggnog, sugar and vanilla extract into a steaming pitcher and heat to between 145 degrees F to 165 degrees F (65 to 70 degrees C) using the steaming wand.

Brew the shots of espresso, then add to mug.

Pour the steamed milk and eggnog into the mug, using a spoon to hold back the foam.

Spoon foam over the top.

Sprinkle nutmeg and or cinnamon on top of the foam.
